From around the age of forty-five, the eye slowly loses its ability to refocus. Fovia builds spectacle lenses that do the refocusing electrically — one pair, every distance, nothing to move or take off.
四十五岁前后，眼睛会逐渐失去自主调焦的能力。弗维研制的镜片以电控方式完成调焦—— 一副眼镜，看远看近，无需摘戴，内部也没有任何机械结构。
What we build我们在做什么
Our lenses use liquid crystal optics: applying a small voltage changes how the lens bends light, so the same lens can serve distance vision and reading. There are no moving parts, no separate reading glasses, and none of the narrow corridors and edge distortion that make progressive lenses hard for many people to adapt to.
我们的镜片基于液晶光学：施加很小的电压即可改变镜片对光线的偏折，因此同一枚镜片既能看远， 也能看近。没有活动部件，不必另备一副老花镜，也不存在渐进镜片那种狭窄的视野通道与边缘畸变—— 那正是许多人始终难以适应渐进镜片的原因。

We treat the lens as an imaging system and design it against what the eye actually needs, then build the device around that. Wearer experience sets the specification — not the other way round.

Our lenses are built from process steps the display industry has refined for decades. We design toward established manufacturing rather than asking for new equipment, and we work with established manufacturing partners.
